[SET COMMENTS]
Raging Bolt is an incredibly bulky special attacker that can stay on the field and survive hits from Restricted Pokemon, and threaten them back with its huge Special Attack stat and weaken their team with stat reducing moves. It matches up incredibly well into Urshifu-R, keeping it in check with Thunderclap, Koraidon, since it commonly doesn't run Dragon-type moves, common Fire / Water / Grass cores, which usually have Incineroar, Rillaboom, and Urshifu-R or Ogerpon-W, and multiple strong special attackers with Snarl, such as Kyogre, Calyrex-S, and Terapagos. Electroweb gives it a solid speed control option while still dealing relevant damage, whereas Thunderbolt is a consistent and strong STAB option, and Volt Switch gives it a strong way to reposition itself. Assault Vest allows it to survive hits more easily from strong special attackers such as Calyrex-S, Terapagos, Kyogre, Flutter Mane, and opposing Raging Bolt while punishing them with a Snarl, Electroweb, or stronger attacking move. The EV spread allows it to avoid the 2HKO from Choice Specs Astral Barrage from Calyrex-S, survive an Icicle Crash from Chien-Pao, and outspeed -1 Gholdengo and Adamant Urshifu. Tera Fairy allows it to gain an immunity to threatening Dragon-type attacks from the likes of Miraidon and opposing Raging Bolt while still having a very strong defensive typing into the current metagame, while Tera Electric significantly increases the damage it does at the cost of remaining vulnerable to strong Ground-type attackers such as Landorus and Groudon.
Raging Bolt synergizes well with multiple Pokemon and can work on many team structures, but some notable partners are Incineroar, since it can reduce the threat from physical moves that Raging Bolt cannot weaken, Koraidon, since it activates Raging Bolt's ability Protosynthesis by setting up sun, and Urshifu-R, which checks multiple strong threats to Raging Bolt like Calyrex-I, Flutter Mane, Chien-Pao, and Landorus. Another Pokemon that checks Raging Bolt is Amoonguss, since Raging Bolt can't stop a Spore from going off and Raging Bolt's attacks can be redirected by Rage Powder without many issues. It is also vulnerable to Fake Out, since Raging Bolt is unable to use Protect to block it because of its Assault Vest, and variants without Draco Meteor can't threaten Incineroar for high damage, allowing it to use Parting Shot and pivot out relatively safely.
